Waterhill`s Bed & Wellness is located in the village center of the village of Dinteloord. The property is above a tea shop owned by the same owner and has its own private entrance. In the cozy center of this village you will find various (clothing) shops, a supermarket, drugstore and various eateries around the creek. Dinteloord is roughly between Rotterdam, Breda and Antwerp. All three cities are half an hour away by car. The nearest North Sea beach is a 40-minute drive away. But there is also a lot of beauty to see a little closer. For example, the picturesque town of Willemstad with its historic city walls / cozy terraces and the nature reserve De Dintelse Gorzen with the Benedensas where the TV series Merijntje Gijzen was filmed are half an hour's bike ride from Dinteloord. The Bovensas is also well worth a visit, take your picnic basket with you and enjoy nature! You can go for a beautiful walk on the Westcreecke estate or take a 'round of the polder'. And after exertion you can relax in your private wellness. In short, you will not be bored in this part of West Brabant!

The Zeeland Bridge has been a beautiful icon of Zeeland since 1965. For enthusiasts who have an eye for major human interventions in the landscape, built between 1963 and 1965 this is an example of impressive engineering work. For lovers of nice panoramas, the view to the left and right over the Oosterschelde is worthwhile if you drive the 6 km over it.

Neeltje Jans is a flat, chop, small and medium waves spot. It is a kitesurfing spot for riders of any level. The water theme park here is a well-known visitor attraction, but only a few know that there is also a fantastic surf spot on the island north of the barrier. At high tide, you can rip the wide surf belt against a lonely dune backdrop, but don't go too far out because of the current! At low tide a big shallow area forms, ideal for kiting – although the approach of over 500m will probably ensure that purists remain among themselves here in the future.

The museum takes its name from the art collector, anthroposophist and agricultural pioneer Marie Tak van Poortvliet (1871-1936), who in the early twentieth century had a villa built in Domburg and spent many summers there in the company of the painter Jacoba van Heemskerck (1876-1923). Zeeland seemed to naturally to attract artists, this attraction was enhanced by the unsophisticated beauty of the surroundings, the special light along the coast and its reflection over the land have inspired many poets, composers and writers, but also – and above all – painters.

From the monumental Great Hall there is a wide view of what the museum has to offer. The Tropenmuseum is housed in one of the most beautiful, original museum buildings in the Netherlands. Every one of the objects tells a human story and makes you curious about the vast cultural diversity that enriches the world. The Jewish Cultural Quarter invites its visitors to acquaint themselves with Jewish culture and history, to deepen their existing knowledge, and to think actively about the subject of cultural diversity. The basic principle is to make the Jewish story accessible in a positive way to as much of the general public as possible.

Trained in the classical French kitchen, but with his roots deeply embedded in the Northern Dutch countryside soil. The name of the neighbourhood Lastage, which is a archaic Dutch word with a French twist, seems to be fitted to the kitchen style of chef Rogier van Dam. The kitchen leans towards tradition and simplicity without fear of innovation. The same mentality that brought the neighbourhood prosperity and continues to instill beauty and character in this piece of Amsterdam. It is the oldest and most historic piece of Amsterdam and is on the border of the red light district; as effervescent as the glass of champagne on arrival and as adventurous as our wine list.

Against the backdrop of the kettles of the brewery you can see our cooks work with passion and pleasure each day. Their cooking style is best described as a fresh Mediterranean cuisine, honest, homemade and seasonal. We also pay special attention to good wine and beer pairings. When the weather is chilly the restaurant is warmed up by our big fireplace. And on summer days you can savor an al-fresco dinner on our terrace. The fantastic views over the water can be enjoyed all days of the year. We offer a set menu and additionally a changing seasonal menu.
